Mother’s Day - Sanam Sutra

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. Mother is defined as a protective and possessive affection, which a mother will typically display towards their child throughout their life and protect their offspring at all costs.

Mother/মা

Nothing could be compared to a mother’s love in this world as it is the purest form of love. Mother is like an angel for her child, who always loves her child and supports him/her. For every child, his mother has a special place in his heart because she is the first person the child sees after his birth.

There is no particular day for mother. On the other hand, without mother, whole world seems to stop. There is no particular explanation in this world, which can define the word “Mother” exactly. Mother in itself, is a dictionary, is a school, is a trust, is a life lesson, is happiness, is peace and much more.

My Mom My Maa

My mother’s name is “Meera”. She was a graduate teacher by her profession. Although, she was a history teacher but she commanded her knowledge in each and every subject and she still surprise me with her experience. 😍 I still remember, my mother’s Pallu, which was my favourite hide out place. Like any other family, our home was also a palace of happiness and peace. I was always pampered by my mother and father.

It can be easily understood that a teacher, who guides other, will definitely make their children learn well. She was very strict in her own way. It was her teaching, which helps me in stand strong in each and every situation of my life. I learned everything from her. In my life, I got many ups and down, but she always helps me to be strong and come back well. Perhaps, her best teaching was that “Money & Education matters but the most important thing is character & Manners”.

In present day world, people lookout to their mobiles for any solutions. In our time it was our parents, and specially our mother where every problem was got solved. My mother was a very good designer and all my childhood dresses were made by her at home. She even got some dress orders as well but she refused them.

Maa : Strength of the family

In my college days, my family got through a very dangerous accident. All others got minor injuries but my father got some very critical life long impact on him. We were on a peak of trouble, and it was my mother, who handled all of us. She also helps my father to recover a lot. She was an inspiration for my father as well. It is not exaggeration that it was mother only, because of whom my father lived so long after that accident.

Whatever I write about my mother is very less. I wish to get her as my mother in every birth I get. I just hope and try to be like her, so that one day my children will also feel the same way as I do towards my mother.
